HD + AI Part 4: How Projectors Actually Use AI

Fourth in the series on AI built for how your specific energy works. This one’s for the ones who see everything and get asked to prove it.

Oct 26, 2026

Every AI advice/prompt/thought-piece post I’m seeing right now assumes that everyone wants the same thing:

  • everyone wants to finish more, faster

  • everyone wants their business to run without them

I mean, kind of but not really! I have a slightly different perspective on this:

  • I want to spend more time on the things I love and less time on the things I don’t

  • I want my expertise, discernment, brain power and magic to be focused on things that are human in my business while what I have already defined as a repeatable thing, repeat themselves without draining my energy.

This may sound similar but the intention is different.

I want freedom, not fast. I want to be in my business where the ME matters.

And if you know anything about me or my work, you know that I NEVER look at anything as a one-size-fits-all situation. AI is no different here.

In this series HD + AI, I will be breaking down how each energy type can use AI to run their business in a way that supports what they are good at, and makes the rest easier to manage.

Let’s Talk about Projectors!

Projector strategy is wait for the invitation. About one in five people carry this design, and none of them run the sustained engine a Generator runs on.

You see people and systems clearly, often before they see themselves. Success comes when someone recognizes what you see and invites you into the room. Bitterness shows up when you try to grind your way to that recognition on a Generator’s schedule.

Here is the piece most Projectors miss. Recognition needs evidence and the best evidence is lived experience.

Your content, your pitch, and your invitation all come from what you have already done: how you helped a real person see something, what you noticed, and what shifted afterward.

That material is sitting in your calendar right now and most of it disappears within a week. The good news? You shouldn’t have to sit down to write content. The bad news? Content doesn’t create itself and you need a system to capture what you are doing that can become content.

A system to support a Projector has to account for…

You see, Projectors work best guiding a team that does the doing. The seeing and the guiding are your job, and someone else carries the execution. Back at Hearst I had designers, engineers, and product teams who executed every system I designed. Most of my clients are maxed out, stressed out and not ready financially to build a team like that yet.

So this is what I use AI for. I treat it like the team a Projector would have if the budget were there. AI can…

  • Keep the record of your experience

  • Draft the shareable version

  • Carry the follow-through after someone says yes.

You’ll also want to train it to act like the other energy types for a well-rounded team, and the one a Projector needs most is a Generator. AI can be the sustained engine, so your energy goes to the seeing and the guiding from the higher vantage point.

Projectors can get caught in this loop of all the things they think they “should” be doing for marketing and sales and are under the misconception that it has to be hard. For projectors, it’s all about show and tell and AI can help you identify what you are bringing to show and tell so you don’t forget. Let it be easy!

This is the how…
