About Business, Unbothered
Business, Unbothered is a publication for people building businesses who are no longer interested in forcing themselves through borrowed formulas.
This is where I write about the things that actually shape sustainable growth, whether that shows up as a practical shift, a bigger business reframe, or a clearer read on the energetic climate you’re moving through.
Because a lot of business advice assumes the problem is a lack of strategy. Most of the time, it’s not.
Most of the time, it’s that the strategy you’re trying to use doesn’t actually fit:
your energy
your season
your business model
your decision-making
or the version of you who’s trying to lead now
That’s the territory this publication lives in.
Not trends.
Not hustle.
Not performative “clarity.”
Not trying to optimize yourself into burnout.
Just better questions, cleaner patterns, and more honest ways of moving forward.
What You’ll Find Here
There are three main kinds of posts inside Business, Unbothered:
1. Quick Shifts
These are practical, useful posts designed to help you make one cleaner move.
They’re usually short, specific, and built around one concept, tool, or reframing that helps you get out of your head and into action without overcomplicating things.
This might look like:
a simple business reflection exercise
a systems or workflow shift
a content or publishing upgrade
a practical way to use astrology in real life
a quick reframe that helps something click
These are the posts that help you stop spiraling, stop overthinking, and move forward with more clarity.
2. Unbothered 101
This is where my broader thought leadership and philosophy lives.
These posts are less about “here’s a quick fix” and more about how I see business, growth, leadership, identity, and what actually creates sustainable success.
This is where I write about:
the patterns I see across clients
the things I think the online business world gets wrong
the invisible dynamics underneath burnout, clarity, momentum, and self-trust
what it really means to build a business that fits the person running it
If Quick Shifts are the practical tools, Unbothered 101 is the deeper worldview underneath them.
3. Astrology & Timing
These posts help you understand the energetic climate and how to work with it more intentionally.
Some are timely, like:
New and Full Moon posts
zodiac season reports
major transit breakdowns
Others are more evergreen and practical, like:
using planetary days to structure your week
understanding retrogrades in a business context
learning how to apply astrology to your rhythms, decision-making, and strategy
My goal is always the same:
to make astrology useful.
That means these posts often include:
grounded interpretations
practical ways to work with the energy
and, for paid subscribers, deeper breakdowns like rising sign horoscopes and more personalized layers
Free vs. Paid
Free subscribers get:
Quick Shifts and practical business reframes
Unbothered 101 thought leadership and worldview pieces
selected astrology posts and timing insights
useful frameworks, behind-the-scenes systems, and editorial-style essays
occasional previews of deeper subscriber content
Paid subscribers get:
full astrology posts, including rising sign horoscopes
deeper energetic breakdowns and applied business astrology
richer interpretations, prompts, and subscriber-only insights
the more nuanced pattern work that doesn’t always belong on the free internet
If free is the orientation, paid is the deeper layer.
What This Is (and What It’s Not)
This is a place for:
sharper discernment
better timing
cleaner self-trust
more thoughtful ways of building
It is:
practical, but not disconnected
intuitive, but not vague
editorial, but still useful
grounded enough to actually apply
It is not:
hustle culture in prettier language
endless self-improvement content
emotional performance disguised as wisdom
one-size-fits-all strategy advice
You do not need to become a different person to build something sustainable.
You usually just need to stop building in ways that betray your actual nature.
About Me
I’m Katie MacLachlan, founder of Be Good Guide.
My work lives at the intersection of business strategy, astrology, systems, embodiment, and intuitive pattern recognition. I help people build businesses that fit who they actually are, not just what performs well on the internet.
Before this work, I spent years in media and digital product, designing platforms and systems that supported content, communication, and large-scale publishing. That background still deeply shapes how I think about business now: not just as branding or strategy, but as an ecosystem of decisions, structures, timing, and lived experience.
I tend to work as both:
a seer — naming the pattern before it’s obvious
and an architect — helping people understand the structure underneath what’s working, what isn’t, and what needs to shift
This publication is where those two parts of me meet.
Additional Resources
When it makes sense, I may point you toward tools, frameworks, or offers that help you apply what you’re reading more deeply.
That might include:
the AstroCalendar
the Embodied Business Blueprint™️
or other resources inside my broader ecosystem
Not because every post needs to sell you something, but because sometimes insight lands best when there’s a next place to put it.
